My gosh! I do not know where the time has gone! When I first learned I was moving to Florida, it sounded such a long way off. Now, the more bare my room becomes and the more things I pack at home, the more I realize the time is getting closer and closer. I hope you all take me seriously and come visit me in Florida! Here is my new address (effective June 1st), my personal e-mail, and my cell phone. Please, please, please stay in touch!

Kansas Sampler Festival
Sat. & Sun., May 5 & 6, 2007
Garden City, Kansas
Do you wish that you could go to one place and experience a living brochure of what there is to see and do in Kansas? You're in luck!
The Kansas Sampler Festival was designed to bring communities and attractions from all over the state together to make it easy for the public to discover day trip possibilities. In other words, the primary purpose of the festival is to provide the public a sample of what there is to see and do in Kansas.
Whether you are looking for hiking trails, historic sites, natural landmarks, unique restaurants, off-the-beaten track eateries, architectural gems, hole-in-wall performing centers, artists-at-work, specialty shops, or have-to-be-there Kansas events, this festival is for you!
In the Kansas Products area The festival features:
Over 200 Kansas communities telling you what they have to see and do, with exhibit booths;
dozens of entrepreneurs selling their Kansas-made products;
entertainers telling the story of their town, or a bit of history, or to let you know they're available for bookings;
reenactors;
stumping to tell the world your story;
food booths that help tell the Kansas story;

Back by popular demand, the Fall Drive!

by Josh Dutcher
It looks like we'll get one more drive in before it gets too cold! Saturday, September 30th we will be doing our Fall Drive. This will be a shortened version of the longer drive I've led before, probably lasting around six hours or so. We will meet around 9:00 AM at the McDonald's at 47th and Broadway for a quick meeting and then head out. Watch the Yahoo Group for details and last-minute information. Hope to see you there!
